UKSedation is a UK leader in the training and use of Remimazolam, the most exciting advancement in dental sedation in the last 40 years.
This is another tool in our sedation palette which can provide ultrashort and ultra long sedation with the same safety profile as midazolam, but with super fast recovery and the ability to control and adapt to the dental situation.
IT IS NOW APPROVED FOR USE IN DENTISTRY IN THE UK, SEE THE IACSD STATEMENT 9TH JAN 2023 AT
After the success of our course at the Royal Society of Medicine in October 2022 with Dr Rob Endicott and Dr Roy Bennett, we are planning a series of events around the country, including bespoke training for your practice teams.

Remimazolam (Byfavo) is a new benzodiazepine with short onset, short offset and very few active metabolites, allowing shorter sedation times, better safety, fast recovery and more predictable, controllable sedation. It can be used in the UK for ultrashort treatments, around 30 minutes, and also for ultralong treatments, like prolonged implant sessions.
It relies on non-organ dependent metabolism, meaning it is more predictable across many groups of patients, including differing BMIs, renal impairment, sex and age.
It is a re-engineered version of midazolam with a similar safety profile, great anxiolysis, hypnosis and amnesia.
More information on Remimazolam can be found at www.byfavo.co.uk
Fantastic course, engaging speakers, content that’s applicable and useful to my practice.
Roy and Rob, you guys were honest and humble and refreshing. Thank you.
Superb presentation from two of the leading lights in the field of UK dental sedation - the juxtaposition of “shouty” Rob Endicott and “whispering” Roy Bennett worked perfectly - this new BZD is likely to be a game changer in the field and these were the guys to deliver that news - a solid 10/10.
Well organised and run course, pioneering educational content regarding the development of drugs used for delivering dental sedation.
