Welcome to UK Sedation and thanks for registering!

We are delighted to be able to help, but to start, here’s some more information about how everything works.

We offer a totally online booking system so getting a sedationist should be as easy as saying to the reception team “can you book UKSedation in for Mrs Jones?”

Some important points..

  1. Make sure your dentists and Nurses all have either Immediate Life Support training up to date – or BLS+AED+Airway training every year
  2. Use the Safe Sedation practice checklist to ensure you are happy as a practice to be accepting a visiting sedationist.
  3. Use the Preoperative-Assessment-tool-2021 with your patient
  4. Ensure that the patient is ASA 1 or 2
  5. Discuss fees with the patient (fees are available on each sedationists booking page)
  6. Book the appointment with your sedationist
  7. We will then contact the patient to arrange any pre-assessment and online consent form.
  8. We will then appear in good time at your practice with all the equipment necessary
